The Dorset Guinea Pig farm started in March 2013 when I was looking after four of my friends guinea pigs, i used to have some as a young child but they sadly died and i had forgotten how much fun they were to keep. Soon after i bought my first male guinea pig and started to breed them in the cage I built myself one sunny (but bitterly windy) afternoon in my dads workshop. I was to pick him up two days later to come and join his new family!

We decided to call him Elvis and he settled down nicely into his ramshackled hutch!
